For Your Information....

Hello,

First of all I'd like to apologise for the carry on with the blogs being shut down and started back up again. Blogger / Google disabled my account which closed down rkid003 and Beady Eye Records. I don't know what happened, I received no warnings or emails from either which led me to starting rkid004.

Now, however, both rkid003 and Beady Eye Records are now back online and I will use them as the main sites and this as a back up which I will continue to update each time there is a new post made as this blog is on a different account.

Please bookmark this site as if there are any problems or shut downs this is the place to come. Thanks for the emails and messages.

Cheers Jim

Another fantastic recording by Petrock2000, your a talented man getting gigs sounding as good as this. I'll upload artwork once one or more have been designed. This gig in Wales is part of Beady Eye's second UK tour and Liam was right, once they got into thier swing and lost the flu bug they would sound much better, him especially although I am still not having For Anyone... Kermit keeps making sneaky appearances for me, Liam needs to sing it like Songbird and lay off shouting as much but other than that he is doing well. Wigwam is magic, really dig Chris's drumming. Well in lads, I can't wait till T in the Park to see them.

DO NOT SELL THESE UPLOADS ON EBAY. Tapers go through a lot to get these gigs for us, artworkers take there time to design, piss them off and they will stop sharing.

This is a rare promo CD issued to US radio stations only although it is also listed on Discogs as an unofficial release here. It is a highlight show of the Oasis gig at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Great sound quality on all songs. This contains probably my favourite version of Fade In-Out. Amazing intro and Johnny Depp plays slide guitar just like he does on the album version. A big thanks go to Howdo who sent me the FLAC files. He always comes through with some great gigs and other rarities. Visit his Oasis trading site Let Me Be The One and his newly launched Beady Eye trading site Beady Eye Media.

Millionaire (Promo CD)

UK Promo CD for the new single Millionaire, taken from Different Gear, Still Speeding. I know have all four UK promo singles on CD, expensive business, £60 for all of them, but the only way to get them on CD as Beady Eye are on their massive retro trip with vinyl only singles! Anyway no difference from the album version. Also uploaded thanks to Basiloasis is the video edit which has a radio intro and outro, just something for the collection so thanks to him. **EDIT** The video edit has now been updated to a 256kbps mp3.

Petrock2000 Original Notes : Not much of a matrix to be honest. Liam's monitor feed is just his vocal and has an awful echo effect on it so I was limited to how high I can put it in the mix. Four Letter Word is just audience so you can hear how much it adds to the mix by comparing that to the rest of the recording. Liam has a pop at Noel throughout. Just before the show started, a video of Noel talking was played out and the crowd were cheering him. I think Liam was responding to that. If you are wondering what he says at the start of Sons of the Stage, it is "Hub caps, Vauxhall hub caps" (the only advantage of recording this IEM as far as I can tell)."

An amazing audience recording boosted by an In-Ear Monitor feed taped and uploaded by Petrock2000 on Dime. This guy is a legend and his recordings are definitely amongst the best out there so big thank you goes to him for his work and sharing it. This is Beady Eye's first Teenage Cancer Trust gig at The Royal Albert Hall and they give Wigwam it's live debut. Great gig even if Liam sounds a little "throaty" on some songs but he can be forgiven considering he was suffering from the flu a few days before. Absolute Radio also put up a small highlights set on their website, cheers to Fluff for ripping the tunes and the pre-gig interview. Thanks to Wonderwoo and Small Faces for the artworks.

Serious note please. DO NOT SELL THESE UPLOADS ON EBAY. Tapers go through a lot to get these gigs for us, artworkers take there time to design, piss them off and they will stop sharing, SIMPLES! Bit of respect kids.

Probably the best gig, sound quality wise, from the Don't Believe The Truth World Tour back in 2005. Very good versions of the album tracks A Bell Will Ring and Mucky Fingers. When the show was broadcast on TV, maybe radio too, Lyla and Love Like A Bomb were not broadcast however they were recorded by a member of the audience and are included here. I don't think Love Like A Bomb lasted much longer after this show, maybe the gig at Hampden in Scotland, which I was at, and the first night at the City of Manchester Stadium.

One of the landmark gigs from Oasis. Soundboard recording with band on amazing form. Is that down to Liam singing at his best or the band all sounding like the complete unit with all the banter and togetherness with each other and the fans? Or maybe it was the coke kicking in? Probably a mix of all three! I wish I had got to see Oasis in 1995-96, I had to wait till 1997. Some great versions at this gig and a cool little acoustic set by Noel near the end. A must for anyones collection.

I actually came across this and the US promo CD by accident while searching for a physical promo version of the Millionaire promo, which will also be uploaded as soon as it is delivered. And I've just realised I have just repeated what I wrote for the US promo CD there! The artwork is once again from the Oasis Collectors website so thanks to Ethan or whoever sent it him. No difference from the UK promo CD, just another one for the collectors I suppose. I'll ask again if anyone has the actual CD perhaps they would be kind enough to upload a lossless version please?

The first and only digital single by Oasis, well in the UK at least. The single was released in promotion for the Don't Believe The Truth World Tour DVD of the same name. Originally only available from Oasisinet back in 2007 and has two live B-Sides from The City Of Manchester in 2005. The song itself is actually a different mix from the version released on the Dig Out Your Soul bonus CD. The Promo CD version has the word "Shit" edited but other than that no difference. You can also download a fantastic fan made mix of both Noel and Liam singing the tune here.

Virgin Megastore, London 30th August 1994

01 : Shakermaker

06 : Slide Away*

Another early acoustic session from Oasis, this time performed at an in-store signing session in the Virgin Megastore in London on the 30th of August 1994. I got the FLAC version from Gadejo's Whatever Blog. Take a look over there for rare lossless Oasis audio. (*) mp3 only, Slide Away cuts half way through the song. I'm unsure if there is a complete version of it available. **EDIT** The full version of Slide Away is now uploaded thanks to the legend that is Stef!

Now if you look at the artwork above you will see the madman that is Evan Dando who unofficially, and to be honest only in his head, became the 6th member of the band. He actually wrote a song called Purple Parallelogram with Noel Gallagher around this time however Noel blocked it's release but only after it was issued on promo cds. You can download the studio version here and a very rare acoustic version by Noel himself here.
